Program Guidelines

  • Applicant must currently own and have an Aquarion Water Company account in good standing for the Massachusetts residential property where the washing machine replacement will occur.
     
  • Aquarion Water Company will provide one $250 washing machine rebate per residential property.
     
  • The washing machine must remain in the possession of the original purchaser, or remain at the original installation address.
     
  • To qualify, the replacement washing machine must be a new ENERGY STAR certified product. Please visit www.energystar.gov for a complete list of certified products. The washing machine being replaced must be an old, agitator-style washing machine (see example photo).

  • Rebate will be issued as a Visa gift card. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for rebate processing.
     
  • Some installations may be selected for a random inspection. At reasonable times and with reasonable notice, you agree to allow Aquarion Water Company to inspect the machine at the installation address for up to one year after purchase.
     
  • The effective date of this program is February 28, 2017. Purchases made prior to February 28, 2017 are not eligible for rebate.
     
  • Aquarion Water Company’s Massachusetts Washing Machine Rebate Program is on a first come, first serve basis.
